Foreigners visiting Colombia. More than 130,000 foreigners have fallen in love with Colombia’s culture, landscapes and the warmth of its people after just one visit, according to the National Statistics Department (DANE).
2014 statistics confirm that more than 10 million visitors come to Colombia for tourism purposes and business purposes from 2014- to 2018.

Ecuador.

DANE states that the people that come to visit are from different paths of life. Adventurous young students to retires, Colombia welcomes everyone who wants to learn from it’s culture and find wonderful landscapes.

According to some travelers the cost of living is low and traveling inside the country is very cheap. You can live with about US$1,500 a month, which is very affordable for a modern country with a solid infrastructure. They state that you can buy property at a great price and live a comfortable life without going broke.

Foreigners also comment on the warmth of Colombian people. They state that Colombians are very welcoming always eager to share pieces of their country’s history. Colombians will welcome you into their communities with music, dancing, interesting local food, and of course festivals. Nearly every city and town has a festival to celebrate some aspect of Colombian life.

Lastly, The people of Colombia and its government have worked hard to overcome the former harsh reputation of the country. More than two decades have passed since the infamous days of Pablo Escobar and much of the country is now vibrant and thriving. Multinational companies in the technology, mining, banking, and healthcare sectors have a major presence in Colombia. These industries employee up to a million Colombian and foreigners that have decided to live in the country.
